Like fruits, vegetables also play an important role in improving your health. Bitter melon, for example, is an excellent source of fiber, vitamins, calcium, and iron. This vegetable is excellent for treating diabetes, lowering blood glucose level, and preventing some types of cancer formation. Green vegetables, such as broccoli, spinach, and cabbage, are also excellent sources for many nutrients that your body needs to be healthy and to fight against diseases.
